HCG Diet

Introduction

The HCG Diet targets storage fat areas allowing you to loose centimetres from those difficult areas such as your stomach and thighs without losing weight in your face causing you to look older.  Amazingly it eliminates food cravings whilst on the diet programme.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone, naturally produced in large amounts by the placenta during pregnancy. It is believed that hCG serves an important function in providing a stream of energy and nutrition for the developing baby by allowing access to storage fat, during periods between meals.

It is the above function in pregnant women that is the cornerstone of its usefulness in the hCG weight loss program. hCG’s use with a strict calorie controlled diet for weight loss was first used in the 1950’s and has been proved by many to be an invaluable treatment method for weight loss.

Using hCG for weight loss unlocks abnormal stored fat reserves (hip, abdomen, thighs), allowing the body to use them for energy.

The protocol requires daily injections of hCG accompanied with a 2100 kilojoule (500 calorie) restricted diet.

If the diet is followed correctly, most patients truly experience mood elevation, hunger is minimal or non-existent and it re-establishes your weight set point.

Description

The hCG Diet kits contain:
• A vial of hCG
• Syringes and medicated swabs
• A proprietary blend of dietary supplements
• Multi-flora probiotics
• Digestive enzymes
• ACPHARM hCG Diet manual

The manual describes in detail what is required to follow this diet.  At SkinSmart we can discuss this in detail too.

The 3 week diet costs $700 and the 6 week diet costs $900.

Benefits

As a guide, patients who need to lose 7 kg or less require a 3 week program. When a patient has more than 7kg to lose, the treatment takes longer, and a 6 week program should be undertaken with a review upon finishing.
